Artist-in-Residence “Autonomous Activity Program 2021 Winter” Open Call Has Started!


YUI – PORT's Artist-in-Residence project "Autonomous Activity Program 2021 Winter" has started.

"Autonomous Activity Program 2021 Winter"
Autonomous Activity Program is an Artist-in-Residence project program that invites artists selected by open call and supports short-term stay within 30 days.

■Duration of Stay
Within 30 days from January 7, 2021 (Thursday) to February 20, 2021 (Saturday)
■Application Acceptance
August 1, 2020 (Saturday) - September 10, 2020 (Thursday) 23:59 JST [No Later Than]
(Post Mark on deadline date is not acceptable.)
*Applications outside this period will not be accepted.
■Number of Applicant Invited
Two people (or groups)
・Currently active artist (genre does not matter).
・Participate in the citizen exchange project at least once in cooperation with Designated Administrator.
・Reside and conduct creative activities using YUI – PORT.
・Able to communicate in either Japanese or English.
・In good health condition.
■Our Support
・Location of Production: YUI – PORT's “Workshop Gallery (1 or 2)” will be lent free of charge during the program period.
・Place to Stay: YUI – PORT's “Artist Dormitory (1 or 2)” will be lent free of charge during the program period.

※Special Considerations for Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID -19)
・Depending on the situation of Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID -19), there may be changes in the content of this program, including cancellation, so please understand in advance before applying.
・In order to prevent the spread of COVID -19, the Artist-in-Residence program is conducted in accordance with YUI - PORT's action guidelines. Artists should stay in accordance with the action guidelines.
